On Sept. 11, 2001, America suffered its greatest tragedy.  Sandra had been planning a 6 month hiatus in Charleston, SC prior to 9/11 and left her beloved New York soon after.  During her hiatus, she created her series, Fertility & Hope, in tribute to the victims and survivors as a symbolic movement - the beautiful fruit of God reflecting the spirit of renewal and growth.  What better way to understand their strength and determination than the new life that fruit represents.
